Gotenks doesn't have any of the deadly skills developed that we see him use against Super Boo. Vegeta can amp an attack to finish Gotenks if he needs to. His Final Flash. This may actually be an easy fight for Vegeta. Was does Gotenks have at this point?

We also don't know how strong Vegeta got EoZ.

Vegeta was down for the rematch, he was down for an all out fight on a different planet, he's up there to challenge Goku. Sure Gotenks is a great deal above a SSJ2 tier, but SSJ2 & SSJ3 has its difference in-between. Gotenks lost badly to Fat Boo, who is at the lower level of the tier. Remember Gohan had some sort of chance to take on Fat Boo as well. If anything, Gotenks may be even lower than Z sword training Gohan, unless you think Gohan would come back looking like that if he were to go challenge Boo at that point in time.

I'm fine with having him close to EoZ Goku too, since there's not much else to go off (that I can remember at least). Even if he'd be close in power to Gotenks, I think he'd have both superior ability and durability.

Vegeta would be the victor, by the way.

Same with Goku? For all we know Oob could have been a little weaker than Boo.

He just kinda went along with the tournament instead of wanting to be the one with the likes of Goku in the ring. Dub mistake on my part. However, Goku wanted Kid Boo to come back, reincarnated as a good guy, to fight one-on-one. Goku said he'd be training n' waiting. Now, Oob showed more than Goku did in their fight--but it wasn't much. Ok. But Goku did say Oob lived up to his expectations ^^^.. So yeah, that should be enough for Oob to have Kid Boo's power. Only enraged though, because Goku said he was hiding all of his power from the Son training site to (should be) all the way until the tournament. Edited by Professor Gohan, Jun 15 2013, 04:06 AM.

Do you think Goku expected less out of Oob and himself concerning his training for 10 years? He wants Boo to come back reincarnated and he wants to train to get up there and face his powerful opponent. Unless you think Goku's expectations lies somewhere before Kid Boo's power.
